How To Treat Intense Pain In The Shin Caused After A Injury?

Hit By line drive baseball in the shin one week ago. Trying to keep.elevated however after elevation pain is bad upon standing and takes about 5 minutes before I can beat weight. Also some pain when walking in Achilles x-ray showed no fracture. How long should pain continue before I need to revisit Dr.

Hi
Since you have history of trauma and shin bone is very superficial, you are having pain. It will subside within a few days. Apply diclofenac gel thrice daily and take tablet paracetamol 500mg thrice daily for 3 days.
