How To Treat Insect Bite?

hi there, i was stung by a bee 24 hours ago... once in the leg and i think the stinger is out... I woke up very dizzy and feeling like i had to vomit (but didn't)... sting site is sore, mildly swollen, red and itchy.... it's been a few hours and i still feel a little dizzy... is this normal?

Hello,
Thank you for posting on HCM.
Insect bites are usually pretty easy to treat unless secondary infection sets in.
I would suggest you consult a dermatologist, who would suggest you short course of oral antibiotics and analgesics. Oral corticosteroids may be added as required. Apply a cream containing mupirocin for 3 days followed by a cream containing halobetasol and fusidic acid twice a day over affected areas for atleast 5 days. Take antihistaminics for itching as required.
