How To Treat Extra Tissue Growth On The Vaginal Opening?

Hi. I have an extra meat in my vagina just 10cm from the outside. During the sexual intercourse it is just a little bit painful. It is slim and about 10cm long. About 2 months ago I had a couple of these but smaller and a gyna said it s normal and gave me antibiotics and it went away except for this one. Is this normal?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern

Extra tissue growth could be a HPV infections called genital wart
I advise you to for biopsy of the extra growth of skin to confirm the above infections

Treatment are below:
1. Topical: 80% Trichloroacetic acid gel
0.15-0.5 % PODOFIX GEL

2. If not respond you can do excision by
Best is nitrogen cryotherapy: very less scar after ablation
other are electrocauterization and simple excision

In addition
Avoid sex till you clear from infection
Use safer sex practice: Use condom, Dental dams
Maintain hygiene after sex
Take ibuprufen 500 mg twice daily for the pain
Hope this may help you
