How To Treat Eczema In An Infant?

My 16 month old has been diagnosed with exzema and is teething. Within the last 48 hours he had a flair up and his skin seems to be better after an Oatmeal bath before bed, but this morning he has been very tired and clingy with a poor appetite and very low fever. Do I need to tale him into the doctor or see how he does after he wakes from his nap?
