How To Treat E Coli Bacteria Infection?

Dr. I blessed with male baby on 14th may 12 .after 2 days baby get fever ,after serology & blood culture found E coli bacteria infected ,now fluid (LP) analaysis on process ,dr s giving antibiotic through IV,pls advice about any criticality, baby is 3.2 kg s well sensitive & active

Examination of CSF confirms this.
The doctor is right in giving I V antibiotic as this is a very serious condition.
He needs hospital admission and constant supervision of the pediatrician .
