How To Treat Diarrhea, Tightness In Stomach And Constipation?

I am a 55 year old male. I had severe diarhea on Monday and part of Tuesday. Since that time, I feel like my stomach is tight, and at times very warm, plus I have been unable to move my bowels much at all. I have tried eating full meals, but for the most part am not hungry? Feel worn-out also. Suggestions???

You didnot mentioned whether you had taken any medicines for diarrhoea or not. Some medicine like loperamide used in diarrhoea can cause constipation too. So this constipation like symptoms may be due to side affects of drugs.
As per you there is no diarrhoeal symptoms and you are suffering from constipation, stomach tighness and loss of appetite now. You have not described if there is any pain abdomen. You can try pantoprazole with domperidone once at morning. Low appetite may be seen after diarrhoea for some days. If it more obvious you can try an appetizer. Diarrhoea causes severe loss of body fluids so diet riched with fluid, vegetable, fruits or high fiber are recommended. Digestive enzymes along with carminative taken twice daily after meal will help to reduce symptoms of stomach tightness and constipation. If you have taken antibiotics to treat diarrhoea probiotic capsules are recommended to normalize bowel habit. Regular exercise will help you to regain your appetite too.
If the symptoms persist even after a week you may have to visit a physician.
