How To Treat Dark Scars On Legs Left After Molluscum Contagiosum?
I am 16 years old and last year I had a very severe case of mollescum contagiosum. I had about 50 of them frozen at the dermatologist and it did help but has left dark scars on my legs. I have been using scar creams for about 6 months now and they have faded some but still have the red look. I was wondering if any kink of skin lightening cream would help. Please respond. Thank You

Hi,
You seem to have post inflammatory hypermelanosis. I would recommend you to apply kojic acid containing gel on the patches. Take tab vitamin C 1000 mg daily for few months. If needed, consult the dermatologist...ok
