How To Treat Closed Fracture Of Distal Clavicle Leading To Pain?

I have closed fracture of distal clavicle; I have followed up with my MD, (Internal medicine doc); it has been 3 1/2 weeks and pain has subsided; Beginning to gain some range in shoulder, but not much weight-bearing; Should I see an orthopedic doctor? My doctor feels I will be able to return to work in about a week.

Hi,

Welcome to Health Care Magic,

I am Dr.Snis Khan,

I have read your question in detail and will try to help you in the best way possible.
As u have mentioned about distal clavical fracture and now feeling pain I would suggest you to get an xray and then show it to an orthopedic surgeon for further opinion or kindly come back here after radiography...

I hope this answered all your queries, if you have more queries,I will be happy to answer.

Wish you the best of health.

Regards.

Dr.Snis Khan
