How To Treat Chest Infection In A Baby?

Hi dr my 1year 8 months toddler has been coughing since starting crèche now its almost 1 and half months I took her to the Dr they ruled out any serious chest infection both gave her medication but not helping , during the day she coughs but when asleep no problem please help

As far as children are concerned it will take time to overcome any sort of infection. You have already consulted two doctors but still the condition is not improving so first of all I will say be patience and don't be worried. You can continue antibiotics as suggested or with an opinion of any other senior consultant preferably moxikind-cv or azithral suspention. You can give her syrup calpol or syrup ibugesic-plus for fever with syrup ambrodil-s or syrup bro-zedex for cough. You can nebulise her with salbutamol as per expert advice. Take care of her, she will be fine soon. Thank You
