Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic

Acne can leave behind atrophic/ depressed scaring just like acne.
Acne scars are not harmful but they can be unsightly and most people would want to get rid of them, specially as they are on face.
There are various treatment options available with a dermatologist which can help improve the appearance of Acne scars e.g Fractional Co 2 Laser; Chemical peeling; Microneedling/Dermaroller; Punch floatation; punch excision and primary closure; subcision etc
One of these is Fractional CO 2 Laser. In this procedure Laser passes are given through the entire scar, this causes stimulation of new collagen synthesis as part of wound healing process and ultimately a filled up scar.
The number of sittings depend on the depth of the scar. Generally 3-4 sittings achieve a final good cosmetic result.
Microneedling is basically a cylinder which is loaded with needles around it. Rolling the cylinder punctures the skin and stimulates wound healing and new collagen production as part of wound healing process.
Chemical peeling is basically for superficial scaring.
Surgical options like punch excision and elevation technique (punch floatation), punch excision and primary closure, subcision etc can be used eithet alone or combined with other procedures depending on the type of scaring.
I would suggest that you visit a dermatologist in your region. Your dermatologist will assess the type of scarring and suggest the best procedure or combination of procedures.

Regards
