How To Treat A Large Bump On Head And Headache Caused After Injury?

My 10 year old daughter hit her head on a metal cabinet about 25 min ago. She was climbing behind the dryer to get something I dropped and trying to get out and bumped her head hard. It bled a little and she has a big knot on her head. She didn t black out and is complaining of a headache and I looked at her eyes and they are really dilated. Do I just watch her and not let her sleep or should I be worried?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if it is the head injury then it needs to be sent for CT brain just dilatation is not the diagnostic criteria if no symptoms are there, it is highly advisable to keep the patient under observation and brain imaging study is must hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
