How To Treat A Hair Follicle Bump?

Hello, I have an hair bump that really hurts, I applied draw-out salve ointment and covered it with a band-aid, but the hair follicle never comes up thru the bump, and when it does its very thin, i was wondering is there anything else can do to make it draw up and close or take orally to make it better?

Hello dear, welcome to health care magic forum.
A hair follicle bump that hurt you is suggestive of folliculitis. This can be treated with antibiotics like azithromycin or amoxicillin+cloxacillin along with analgesics for a few days. If this fails to control, we may also need an incision. Your doctor will guide you.
Hope you will find this answer useful. Thank you.
