How To Treat A Growing Painful Scab In The Inner Ear?

I have a scab inside that appeared overnight. This has happened randomly over the past year, but usually the scab heals within a day. This time, the scab has been present for a week. I have not picked at it nor messed with it, yet the scab has grown from a small patch to now expanding the full length of my inner ear. When I asked the doctor about the stabbing, he just said the skin looks really bad and "angry" and then gave me a prescription for an ear infection. The problem is getting worse, not better. The pain has gone from just the scabbed area to now the whole area around my ear, my jaw and starting down my neck. I feel my doctor is ignoring the problem and I'm concerned something is really wrong.

Hi,

The problem you are described doesn't seems to be much related with ENT, you should meet a dermatologist for opinion as it look like Dermatitis. Don't ignore.
And just for your knowledge the part of your ear you see is the outer ear or external ear....and inner part is ' deeper part of External ear' NOT inner ear.
