How To Treat A Bump That Feels Like A Bone On The Forehead?
Hello,
I have had a hard pea sized bump that does not move on my forehead for about a year now. It is not painful. The dermatologist I saw thought it was a cyst but when I went it to have it removed the other doctor said it felt more like bone, and that he could not remove it. What could this be? I do not recall hitting my head.
Hello Thanks for the query to HCM. As you mentioned that this PEA sized tumor is from last one year and didn't causes any pain or growth ,but may be due to . 1 Old injury ( however you didn't remember but unknowingly you may got it ) . 2 Benign tumor may be the next reason and in this category there are so many types of tumors so very difficult to mention type of tumor . So consult an orthopedic surgeon and get its excision biopsy. 3 May be malignant tumor , only C T scan will find out the exact nature of tumor . In my opinion get a C T SCAN of this area ( bone of forehead ) and consult an orthopedic surgeon. Good luck. Dr. HET
