How To Treat A Blistered 2nd Degree Burn On Finger?

I burned a finger and I think it is a 2nd degree burn. It blistered. I have kept it covered except during the day. I did it over a week ago and it is still fairly painful at times, but it doesn t appear to hurt when it is touched, the pain is deeper. Is there anything more I should do for it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Seeing the history it seems that proper dressing should be done preferably by your doctor as he can clean local part properly.
You might require one course of antibiotic medicine for 3-5 days.
Ok and take care.
