How To Treat PCOS?

Hi Doctor Well first let me say I have PCOS. I haven t had a period since February and still haven t had one. My last doctor visit last month confirmed I wasnt pregnant but did have a bad yeast infection. Well this month August ive had unprotected sex about 3-4 times and the last time after sex I urinated with blood in the urine just when I wipe. Now I have used the rest room about 5 other times with only the last one containing blood. I was experiencing cramps with a bloated feeling. Im scared I might have another infection. What can this be?

Hi,

Thanks for writing to us.
It can be due to urinary tract infection.
You should consult your treating physician and get your urine examination done to rule out the organism.
Drink a lot of water orally, maintain personnel hygiene, wear cotton undergarment, avoid using outside toilet.
Vaginal infection can also cause UTI.
May be you required treatment with antibiotic.
Hope it is useful.
Feel free to discuss more.
Good luck.
Regards
Dr.Richa
