Hi... I have had my menstrual period for going on 4 weeks now and doesn't show signs of stopping. The first few days was light like always then the rest of the day ls have been heavy including multiple clots. I am 28 yrs old. What would be the cause of one this long. I am calling and scheduling an appointment with my ob/gyn doc as soon as possible but I'm just wondering what would cause it.
