How To Stabilize A High BP Of Around 143/88 ?

I am 48 years old and never had high blood pressure its always been 120/80 or 118/78. the highest its had been 122/82. But yesterday had to go to urgent care because a pain I had on my left side and my BP was 134/93. I went and bought a BP monitor and I just tried it and it came out to be 143/88. What is considered bad or high BP?

hi

it can be stress induced.

please relax yourself before checking it out.
if your blood pressure is more than 140/90 for more than 3 consecutive readings 24 hours apart, then get evaluated for the same.

Please avoid stress, spicy, salty, oily & heavy non vegetarian diet,

If added with chestpain please get it evaluated, as any chest pain should not be left un-evaluated.

high blood pressure is considered when the readings are more than 140/90 mm of hg.

all the best
take care of your health.
