How To Regularize Periods?

Age 40, My periods were very regular but since last 5 to 6 months i m facing delays and i dont get periods until i take regestrone. this month i am already 10 days late. how many regestrone should i take in a day and what are the side effects, what should i do to regularize periods.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
If you are nearing menopause, you will have hormonal variations. Hence you will have delay in your periods or it may appear early too.
Since you are facing delay in periods, kindly get your hormone levels checked, before taking medications.
Kindly get your FSH, LH, Prolactin and TSH hormones checked.
Then consult Gynecologist for further management.
