How To Reduce Swelling In Lips And Gums?

I got punched in the face pretty hard and my lips are swollen and so are my gums. Their very purple and obviously tender to touch. I saw the dr and he did x Rays and said everything's looks ok but I notice my lower teeth looks like the bottom is a little out but it's not loose or anything. Should I be worried? I also would like to know what I can use to help the swelling go down.

Hello

As Xray is and clinical examination done by your doctor is OK and there is no loosening of teeth, don't worry. Take some analgesic(ibuprofen) with antiinflammatory(serratiopeptidase) to relieve the swelling and pain after consulting your doctor.
Do gargle with antiseptic mouthwash(chlorhexidine) to prevent any infection. Watch for any discharge or increase in swelling or pain. If you notice any of these consult your doctor immediately.
Regards
