How To Reduce Stabbing Pain On Knee?
HI, i just hit my knee with the corner of a bench (a plain wood plank with 4 feet) it was really hard since i didn`t see it, i felt a stabbing pain on my knee and i could not bend it after, this was an hour ago and it still hurts only when i move it or bend it. The blow was really hard and i am afraid i might have fractured my knee cap. i will be getting xrays as soon as i can get myself to the hospital but in the meantime, is there something i can do to reduce pain?

I really appreciate your concern, knee joint is very fragile unit and highly vulnerable fracture could easily happened, till you get done the x-ray care need to be taken for knee joint like, do not bend it, try sanding position, joint must be immobile, for pain analgesic can be tried, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
