General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the pain lower abdomen may be from various possible reasons as:
- Intestine colic or spasm
- Stone in ureter or kidney
- Ovarian pathology as cyst or else
- Pelvic inflammatory condition
- Appendix inflammation if right lower quadrant pain
- Constipation related issues
- Others

My guidelines at present:
- Allow her more liquids intake
- Dietary precautions with high fiber to get smooth bowel evacuations on a regular basis
- Addition of diclofenac for better pain control

Discuss need of ultrasound examination of the abdomen and pelvis with your doctor during next scheduled visit.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
