How To Reduce Pain In Hand/wrist?

Hi,
I slipped on ice this morning, and pain has increased through the day in my hand/wrist. Especially painful on the outside (pinky) side of my wrist just above the wrist-bone bump. Took a couple of ibuprofen and am icing. Think I'll see how it looks and feels in the a.m.; if not better or worse, will call doctor. Sound right?

Hello,
Welcome to HCM
Yes,you are right.you continue analgesics and icing the wound for one more day.
If pain does not subside i would suggest you to get one x-ray of the hand-wrist after consulting your doctor..
If at all if you have any kind of fractures, will get to know.
Thank you.
