How To Reduce Pain In Epididymis?

I was doing a self check for testicular cancer I unknowingly mistakenly squeezed my epididymis slightly to hard and now I have a slight pain in that area but the testicle feels normal I don t have any blood in my urine everything feels normal. Is this a serious issue or do I just need time to heal?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
What you are experiencing pain is due to accidental mechanical injury to epididymis.
No need to worry. Kindly do take the following measures:
1. Take Tablet.Ibuprofen 400mg twice a day after food for 5 days.
2. Apply ice packs to prevent and reduce swelling.
3. Give scrotal support for a week.
Gradually, your pain should subside and you should be back to normal.
