How To Lose Weight And Increase Energy Levels?

I can't seem to lose weight. I'm always tired. I eat a fairly healthy diet.I take vitamins. I try to avoid fast foods. I exersise at the gym 3 to 4 days a week. I have a muscular build but am over weight. My doctor has run blood tests and concludes i'm just a" low energy person" Wht can I do to lose weight and increase my energy levels?
age: 38 weight:237lbs. BMI suggests I am morbidly obese (ha ha ha a spare tire at best)MH: good health, rarely get ill. I think i may have some food. allergies. During puberty I slept all the time and ever since have had a feeling of being tired with low energy. I make my self do exersise but am tiring of being exahusted all the time. HELP PLease!

How you are occupied in life ? What is you daily routine ? Do have toilet habits regular ? What all is your likes & dislikes ? Have you got yourself checked for Thyroid ?
