Mr. Prasad the data you've given doesn't match the question you've asked. Hepatitis C is a chronic infection anti HCV antibodies are not detectable in the initial days of acute infection. Borderline anti HCV antibodies is inconclusive. I suggest you get a RT-PCR test for HCV viral load done for confirmation. Early diagnosis of HCV infection helps in better management but even in the asymptomatic carriers of HCV there's a decrease in life span. Regarding the clinical advice for your wife, get her evaluated by an endocrinologist. For proper management of diabetes mellitus patient compliance to medication with life style modifications, exercise and weight reduction diet is essential.
