How To Identify Symptoms Indicating Presence Of Herpetic Gingivostomatitis?

My doctor suggested I have Herpetic gingivostomatitis but what I see online, the pictures and symptoms, I don't have a fever, felt ill, lack of appetite, etc., they don't match my sores or symptoms. I feel just fine but I do continuously get these sites in different spots when the others go away.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you want to know symptoms of herpetic gingivostomatitis which is a infection of mouth and gums caused by virus due to poor immunity of body. Symptoms include swollen gums, bleeding from gums, drooling of saliva from mouth. fever and bad breath are other symptoms. Apart from this sometimes inability of eat and feeling of unwell occurs through out day. I would suggest you need not t worry and you can take a multivitamin tablet daily for 15 days. If there is pain you can apply a numbing gel containing Lignocaine.Suck on ice pops and avoid hot and spicy foods.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
