How To Get Rid Of Sore Throat?

Hi, I had a rapid onset of a sore throat this evening, within a few hours I could not swallow even my own saliva it was very painful. i managed to get a few hours sleep and when I woke up in the early hours, I felt something hanging down in the back of my throat. When I looked there appears to be a large fluid filled sac surrounding my uvula and appears to be attached to the top near the arachnoids. My throat is sore but not as painful as before and it is very uncomfortable to swallow.
