General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Treatment for seborrheic dermatitis focuses on reducing inflammation and swelling, and curbing itch. In mild cases, a topical anti-fungal cream or medicated shampoo such as ketoconazole may be enough to control symptoms.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
