How To Get Rid Of Painful Bump On Butt Crack?

This is the second time it has happened to me. There is a small bump just inside my buttcrack all the way one top. The first time my mom poked a hole and drained it but it was extremely painful. What are ways to get rid of it with out doing anything that causes any physical pain?

Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

From your description, I suspect that it could be either due to folliculitis (infection of the hair follicle) or a furuncle (boil). Meddling it by yourself may lead to more severe infection. Appropriate Antibiotics & Anti inflammatory medications are needed to treat the condition.

I suggest you to consult a Dermatologist/General surgeon for a detailed clinical examination and further management.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
