Good morning doctor, I had chicken pox 10 years back, which made my face more holes and pimple holes now my age is 34 but still I get pimples or because of over heat I get red pimples on my face frequently how can I solve my problem first of all I want to reduce the holes which are caused by pimples and with chicken pox
I can understand your concern for the chicken pox scars remaining even after 10 years.
In chicken pox it is quite usual to find such kind of deep scars due to dermal involvement of skin.
In my patients I suggest them to apply a cream containing Tretinoin on alternate days. In some cases I prefer to suggest application of cream containing Allantoin and Extractum Cepae, Heparin.
Even after few weeks of application if the holes are not getting better then I prefer to do mild surgical procedures such as subcision or scar reversion.
I suggest you to meet a dermatologist and get most appropriate therapy according to the depth of the scars.
All the best.
