How To Get Rid Of Ear Clogs?

For the past 6 months I have been having a problem with my right ear. When I sleep on it, it's clogs until I use my finger or use my palm as a suction cup to pop my ear. I've used a q-tip (I know not good) and there seems to be no wax when clean my ear. What are the possible options?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to Health Care Magic.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have clogged ears specially while sleeping. I would suggest you to keep warm compresses on your ear 2-3 times a day ,use mixture of alcohol and distal water in equal quantity as a ear drops twice a day alcohol will help in evaporate water. You should not do this procedure if you had previous ear surgery or punctured ear drum. You should blow you ear with hair dryer with lowest heat ans by keeping it foot long distance from ear lobe and chewing a gum will also be helpful. If the condition persist for more the 2-3 days consult ENT specialist again, who can perform other procedures to drain a liquid. You should cover your ear while sleeping as well.

Hope your concern had been resolved.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
