How To Get Chewing Swallowed Outside?
Hi. Four days ago I swallowed a piece of chewing gum whilst sipping a can of drink. It feels like the gum has become lodged low down in the bottome of my throat. I can feel it when I swallow and can t shift it by eating or drinking. How can I get this out and does it pose any kind of choking risk?

The reported cases of chewing gum getting stuck are very rare; and many times the psychological feeling of this getting stuck is overwhelming.
A simple endoscopy of the area will confirm whether it is there or not. If present the Doctor will remove it.
