How To Gain Weight?

Hi I am trying to gain weight since I lost about 40 pounds last year because of a heart attack. I had to have 2 balloons and 5 stints put in my heart. Now I want to know can the liquid Ultra B12 help me to gain my weight back or is it dangerous for me to take.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I understand your concern. First of all, I recommend you calculate your BMI, which is an index showing how much underweight or overweight you are, based on your current weight in kilograms and your height in centimeters.
BMI is calculated by dividing your weight in Kg with your height squared (in Cm). Your BMI should be between 18.4 and 24.5. If it is below this range, then I recommend you start with a multivitamin complex containing omega 3, eating healthy balanced meals and adding two light snacks in between, as well as plenty of rest.

I hope this helps.
Wishing you good health.
