How To Cure The Scar Created By A Blister In Toe?

I had a clear blister on my second toe next to my big toe. I drained it and then I cut the dead skin away now it s a purple whelp and it s not going away. Any remedies? I think also the circulation to my toes are not that good resulting in pressure to my toes.

Hi,

It may be a friction blister. You should not cut the blister skin, which is actually protecting the raw area from secondary bacterial infection. I would recommend you to apply antibiotic cream like fucidine cream after cleansing with hydrogen peroxide solution. Do daily dressing. Take course of an antibiotic and anti inflammatory drugs. Take rest.
Keep the foot raised while sleeping. It may take two weeks to heal.

Hope this helps.
