How To Cure The Condition Of Fairly Unsteady Gait?

I have a fairly unsteady gait and have had for a few years. When I walk on a sidewalk, I sway from side to side and have not fallen but have come close a few times. I take a number of high blood pressure and chlorestral meds, although my chlorestral is not high. Did have a mild heart attack last May, and that is when my cardiologist put me on the B/P and chlorestral meds. I am not overweight and exercise regularly I am 79 years old.

Hi friend
Welcome to Health Care Magic

It is most likely from disorder of the nervous system. Part of the brain (like your heart) may not be getting enough blood supply
Appropriate treatment demands accurate diagnosis
And diagnosis demands examination; probably investigation too;
Get examined by a NEUROLOGIST
The treating doctor alone could conclude better, based on the total clinical picture

Good luck
God bless you
