Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
The symptoms of alternating bowel habits- muschy stools and constipation warrant immediate consultation with a gastroenterologist.
Alternating bowel habits over a long period of time suggest serious pathology- inflammatory bowel disease or malignancy.
The associated tiredness can be due to anemia.
You need to get complete hemogram with peripheral blood examination also.
Other symptoms of cramping and excessive gas can be due to constipation.
Anal itching and anal pain could be due to straining or associated parasites.
You need to consult a gastroenterologist for colonoscopy of the lower gastrointestinal tract, stool test for ova/cyst and stool for occult blood,
You can get stool tests and hemogram yourself and see your consultant with the reports.

Thanks and take care
