How To Control High BP & Triglycerides?

I am a male aged 50. A smoker but did Lipid profile in every 6 months since many years. My Triglycerides were always little higher than the limit but total and HDL were good. In my routine annual checkup I have been diagnosed with BP and on further tests.e Color Doppler found Septal wall hypertrophy (IVST=13mm, PWT=12mm, RVId=24mm,LVIDd=44mm,LVIDs=23mm,EF=79%,FS=47%) and the ETT results (ECG during exercise 3 shows significant ST-T changes in V4-V6 & II,III, aVF, which reverted to normal following exercise, Multiple PVCs were also observed during recovery.) and concluded as: Stress test is EQUIVOCAL for ECG evidence of provocable myocardial ischaemia. Dear doctor, what would you advice ?

hi
your stress test indicates that you are more prone for cardiac ischaemia or more vulnerable for any cardiac ischaemia under stress.
2d-echo report : as such does not show more variations.
i suggest you to undergo an angiogram, to rule out the problems with coronary blood flow.
you have to start on antiplatelets, anti-cholesterol drugs, stop smoking.
angiogram will be more specific for initiating treatment , or to decide whether you have any specific blockage, which can be medically managed or requires any intervention.
all the best
take care
