How To Control Anxiety And Stress Level?

I feel weakness fatigue and sleepiness all the time. I also feel high level of stiffness in my shoulders and neck. Have frequent pains in neck shoulders and lower back. Because of all above reasons I am not able to concentrate on any work. This makes me anxious and stressed at work. I underwent blood tests and found very low levels of vitamin D (3 ng/ml) and high level of Triglycerides (360 mg/dl). All other tests are absolutely fine. For these I have started medication. Can there be any other causes for my fatigue and tiredness? What should I do to overcome anxiety and reduce stress level?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.

Anxiety and your lethargy can be related to the lowered vitamin D levels. I would recommend supplementation orally if the levels are only mildly reduced and injectables if it is quite low. Exercise regularly, reduce intake of calorific food and also concentrate on weight loss along with statins to help bring your lipid profile to within normal levels.

Best wishes.
