How To Confirm The Due Date From The Date Of Conception?

My first day of my last period was 4/19, on 5/20 I tested positive on a pregnancy test. I had blood drawn on 5/20 and my hcg was at 78.9.I had blood drawn again two weeks later on 6/2 and it was at 1890, and again on 6/10 and it was 2400. I should be 8 weeks tomorrow but I m sure I ovulated late and am only 6 weeks. My numbers didn t double in over a week, have ladies who have had this gone on to have successful pregnancies?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Yes. Exact mathematics doubling may not be seen yet normal pregnancy can continue. For reassurance you can get anomaly scans and ultrasound pelvis as well as gynecologist review to rule out any ectopic pregnancy or any abnormal pregnancy outcomes. Folic acid supplementation may also be continued along.

Wishing you a healthy pregnancy ahead. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
