How To Combat Hair Loss And Small Bumps On Scalp While Having History Of Fibromyalgia And Pituitary Tumor?

Recentyly I have noticed I am losing alot of my hair. You can even see my scalp when my hair is fixed. I have also noticed several small bumps on my scalp. I have already been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia about 7 or 8 years ago and take several medications. I also have a pituitary tumor that has stayed the same for the past 5 years.

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms and the excessive hair loss. Treatment of hair loss is mainly based on identifying a possible causative factor and addressing it. For instance, if it is caused by hypothyroid, then you shall be provided medications to help prevent this. However, most cases of hair loss actually have no cause and the process is often irreversible. Please, consult your doctor so that he can look into this and offer help if possible.

I hope this addresses your query fully. Thank you so much for using our services and please feel free to ask for clarifications if need be. I wish you the best of health.
