How To Avoid Side Effects Caused After Inhaling Black Fumes From Rubber?

My husband set a fire in the backyard not knowing a rubber mat was close to it. I smelt something outside went to investigate, I was out there for a little bit grabbed my husband because I thought something was wrong. There was a lot of black smoke fixed the problem came inside and I got really sick. My head started pounding, all I wanted to do was go to sleep. I feel a little better now still feel pretty dizzy. What should I do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is likely that the symptoms would pass since you are already feeling better though it may take a few hours.

You should try to get some rest in the mean time.

If you notice that your symptoms are not resolving or worsening then you should see your doctor for assessment.
Worsening symptoms would be increasing dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, nausea etc

I hope this helps
