How Soon Is Conception Possible After Stopping Depo Shots?

Hi, so I have been on the depo shot for about 5 years and I want a baby... Just got my last shot in November. I want to conceive soon how do I make it so that I can conceive within a couple month if I can t I think I might cry. Please tell me it is possible to get pregnant within the next 2-4 months

Literature, suggest that after Depo it can take anything from 4 to 24 months for your body to return to normal fertility abilities as prior to starting Depo. Only after 4 month will the chances of pregnancy start to increase.

This is not depending on the duration of Depo use as even one single shot will cause the same effect. Literature says that pregnancy rates after Depo cessation are rather similar to women who have never used birth control methods.

The median time to pregnancy after cessation of injectable is 4.5-5.5 months. In other words, you could be pregnant within the next 2-4 months, but your chance will be definitely better 1-2 years after stopping Depo.
