I read your question and I understand your concern.
It is not clear whether you have taken the medication your doctor has suggested. It looks by your description like you only require
medical help when a seizure happens, while it would be more useful if you tried to prevent the seizures.
You should understand that
epilepsy is a chronic disease which should be followed up periodically with a doctor. There are several medications, different drugs are more effective in different patients, so evaluation of efficacy is done through follow up visits. Also side effects are taken into consideration. I understand that EEG and MRI are clear but that doesn't exclude the diagnosis when the seizures are typical for epilepsy.
Lamictal seems a reasonable treatment to try if you haven't been taking it, with good efficacy in several kinds of seizures and less risk of affecting the health of possible pregnancies in the future. Alip is not for epilepsy, to my knowledge is a drug used to treat
high blood pressure (
Amlodipine), but at times drugs have different brand names in different countries, so I might be wrong.
If you have been taking treatment with Lamictal then if having repeated seizures you should first look at predisposing factors like lack of sleep, exhaustion, use of stimulants like caffeine. If that is not the case then you should discuss with your doctor an additional drug or a change in treatment to another anti-epileptic, like
valproic acid,
levetiracetam etc.
I hope to have been of help.
