How Should A Urinary Foley Catheter Be Used?
Has foley large drainage ( the bedside one)bag but wants to change to leg bag. We can t figure out how to release the tube attached to the drainage bag from the catheter junction and put on the leg bag which was provided at his urologist a few days ago. YYYY@YYYY

Foley large drainage bag can be changed by pulling the two tubes apart where they are attached and reinserting into the another tube. Check for blockage or residual urine left in the catheter which may spill out.
