How Should I Treat My Rheumotoid?

Hi, I am patient of Rheumotoid. I am having methotrexat 12.5 mg once a week. From last 2 months my ALT ielevated from 90 to 260. Two days ago my doctor said may be it's because of methotrexat and stopped it. At present I am not having any medicine nor for liver. What shall I do now.I am 38 years old lady

hello,
you may need to be worked up for your liver problem.
at these dosages mrthotrexate should not cause so much elevation of liver enzymes.
you may need to be on alternative drugs like sulfasalazine or hydroxychloroquine
