Hallow Dear, Cabergoline is given to stop milk production due to raised levels of Prolactin hormone. This medicine is highly irritant to the stomach and hence is known to cause gastritis leading to pain in stomach, nausea, at times even vomiting also. If you cover this medicine with some proton pump inhibitor like Pantoprazole tablet early in the morning on empty stomach, your gastric problems will be minimized. Along with, please avoid spicy food and eat only bland diet. So cramping is not to be considered as normal but is a side effect of Cabergoline which can be managed by appropriate medicines and diet.
