General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted the history about the hip joint pains and the screws.
Since she is in so much pain with disability she certainly needs the hip replacement surgery which is now an established surgery.
Thre is no other option.
Successful surgery will make her life better.
If she is medically fit please go ahead with surgery.
There is no other thought.
Make her prepare for surgery by counselling with the team and she surely will agree upon.
All the best for your Mother.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant,
