How Safe And Effective Is Taking Mifepristone?

hi I took the mifepristone yesterday at 2 and around 830 I put the 4 other pills inside my cheeks but I start cramping and having back pain and around 1 am I bleed like a few drops and this morning a few more drops but since then still no blood its been 24 hours since I took the last pills did it work? they said im around 5 weeks

Thanks for writing to us. Following things are needed to carry out.

Repeated intake of abortion pills are NOT good for health and may create problem in future pregnancy.

You should know that medical abortion can be done up to 9 weeks SAFELY by abortion pills (Misoprostol and Mifepristone tab) under the guidance of gynecologist (need complete prescription) to get treatment in emergency situation and to avoid unnecessary excessive vaginal bleeding, abdominal cramp etc.

As you have taken both the tabs already (orally and inside vagina), then you have to await at least 48-72 hrs to get effective result of abortion process (some fleshy mass will be expelled out from uterine cavity).

If vaginal bleeding doesn't start properly or fleshy mass doesn't expelled out after 72 hrs, I suggest you to consult with gynecologist for proper assessment of the case and take suggestive measure accordingly.

Practice safe sex and use emergency pill or condom to avoid unwanted pregnancy in future. Good luck.
