I have had 6 back surgery just had my last on dec. 31st I have been on Ocycontin since 2005 when I got hurt also am on oxycodone 5mg I want off of these so I quit cold tyre today is my second day without anything how long will I feel this bad from the withdraws? And am I doing it wrong by quitting cold turkey or should I ease off. Before my surgery I was on 40mg of OxyContin told my dr. I wanted off so we slow down my dose tell I got to 10mg and I was barley taking my 5mg oxycodone then had 2differnt surgerys last one on the 31st of Dec. so after that I was in a lot of pain so I started taken my prn regularly but today is 2days without anything how long before the withdraws let up
